Welcome to K12 Online School’s Learning Platform. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of our learning platform and all associated content, products, services, and software provided by K12 Online School (“we,” “us,” “our”).

Acceptance of Terms

By using our Learning Platform, you (referred to as the “User” or “Users”) agree to all terms, conditions, and notices specified or referenced in these Terms of Use. These Terms apply to your use of the learning platform and all information, materials, content, products, services, and software licensed or owned by K12 Online School (“K12 Online School Content”) and third-party content (“Third Party Content”).

If the User is a minor, it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure that the User adheres to these Terms.

Permitted Use

The learning platform is provided for accessing the education program licensed by or for the assistance of the User(s). K12 Online School grants the User a non-transferable, limited license to access, view, use, and print the Content solely for the User’s individual personal non-commercial use, corresponding to the education programs.

Users are prohibited from:

  • Altering, obscuring, or removing the content in any manner except as advised in writing by K12 Online School.
  • Using the learning platform in any way that may harm, halt, impair, or overload any K12 Online School server or network, or interfere with the use of the learning platform by any other party.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any computer systems, accounts, or networks connected to K12 Online School servers.
  • Using the learning platform for any unauthorized purposes.

Prohibited Activities

In using the learning platform, you agree not to:

  • Send, receive, or display obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit material or any material harmful to minors.
  • Impersonate any entity or individual associated with K12 Online School.
  • Copy, distribute, or transmit content from the learning platform without permission.
  • Solicit or gather information about Users for the purpose of bulk or unsolicited communications.
  • Upload files containing viruses, malware, or other harmful software.
  • Request personal information from individuals below eighteen years of age without confirmed parental consent.
  • Display offensive, threatening, racist, biased, or discriminatory material.
  • Agree to receive promotional calls or messages on shared contact details from third-party platforms.

Third Party Content

Third Party Content remains the sole property of the Third Party or their licensors. By uploading Third Party Content, you grant K12 Online School a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, publish, and distribute such content.

Modifications

K12 Online School reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time by posting revised Terms on the learning platform. Your continued use of the platform after such modifications signifies acceptance of the updated Terms.
